Match Report: Florence Youth v BBFC U15s

Sunday September 27, 2009

POTTERIES  JUNIOR  YOUTH  LEAGUE. UNDER - 15s. 27 /  9 / 09 . 1030hrs.

FLORENCE  YOUTH - 1 BRADWELL  BOMBERS - 1

The lushest and flattest of pitches, the grandest and most salubrious (comparitively speaking) of local Sunday stadia, the most luxurious of dug-outs; it all counts for nothing if you can't get THE BALL IN THE BACK OF THE NET!! So Bradwell Bombers found on their first ever trip to Florence's tailor-made home.

A tale of two halfs see's the Bombers blitz Cheadle

Tuesday September 15, 2009

Ah, that first game of the new season! Blessed by the late summer sunshine, glinting off the (for now) lush greensward; the perfect stage for lads you've known from knee-high, now in many cases equal or surpassing their parent's height, to ply their Sunday morning trade. And so Bradwell Bombers made their debut in a new league, with a couple of new faces, against Cheadle Town, hoping to make their mark against a fresh gallery of adversaries.

Late goal secures a share of the spoils in scrappy encounter.

NSJYL Under Elevens League

Bradwell Bombers Vs Biddulph Warriors

Bombers failed to sparkle in a scrappy match with an atmosphere that wasn’t the best advert for the new respect campaign. Despite dominating territorially, the home side failed to create enough clear cut chances against a well organised visiting defence. A late equalising goal was needed to ensure the Bombers had a share of the spoils.
